Here’s a quick test with Alex Hillkurtz tutorial. I think of all the art stuff that’s out there, the one that captivates me the most has to be urban sketching / architecture + watercolour. It’s great to paint on a big piece of paper, and I must say, I think I am especially fond of rough papers, but I will perhaps go with a sketchbook the next time. I still have a long, long long, longggg way to go before I come close but it was truly a fun experience.
Here are the details:
Paint: Winsor & Newton Fine Watercolor (Extremely affordable! Student)
Brush: Princeton Synthetic White Taklon Round #12, Round #8, Round #2, 1/2″ Wash, and a cheap ‘hotel’ toothbrush 🙂
Ink: Pilot Kakuno EF with Noodler’s Bulletproof Catfish Ink (Black)
Paper: Arto x Fabriano 270gsm 25% Cotton Extra Rough
