Being a binder that specializes in all things handmade and many things custom made, it gives me great pleasure in binding books that are personalized for an individual. A wonderful client and friend that has supported me for many years, I thought it would be more meaningful if I were to gift something that I had personally made (the book, not the fountain pen). I had some really nice Italian made, bright white, heavyweight papers that I had ordered and kept, and thought that it would not only look good, but felt great in terms of weight and of use when made into a journal.
The primary focus of this website is to share my experiences and of course, sell some sketchbooks along the way. If you would like me to create a truly personalized sketchbook to give a loved one or a friend, even if it’s just one piece, you can always reach out to me (I usually don’t bite).
